The SizeCap app collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, and no advertising. It contains no networking code of its own, so SizeCap does not upload your videos.
When you pick a video from Photos, iOS hands SizeCap a copy through the system photo picker; the app never sees the rest of your library. You can also choose a video from Files or send one to SizeCap from another app's share sheet. Those system features grant access only to the items you choose. Compression runs through Apple's video toolchain on the device. Nothing you pick is uploaded to me or to any third party, and your original video is not modified.
The compressed file is written to the app's own sandbox and goes wherever you send it: your Photos library or another app you share to. Once it leaves SizeCap, the receiving app's own rules apply. To recover an interrupted current task, SizeCap keeps the working copies you selected and verified results in its private sandbox across app relaunches. These files are excluded from device backups and are deleted when you choose to delete the current task's temporary files or uninstall SizeCap. A video added through the share extension may remain temporarily in SizeCap's private shared container until the app safely imports it or you discard that SizeCap copy.
For a compressed copy, you can choose whether SizeCap writes the capture date when that detail is available. Location metadata is not copied into compressed results. If an original is already below your cap and you choose to share that original directly, SizeCap does not rewrite the file or change its metadata. Any retained date stays with the local file or Photos asset and is not sent to me.
SizeCap asks for one permission: adding videos to your photo library, and only when you tap "Save to Photos". It never asks to read your library, because the system photo picker makes that unnecessary. Files and share-sheet imports use the access granted by your explicit selection.
Nothing from the app. There is no server, no crash reporter, and no analytics SDK. If you email me for support, I see only what you choose to send; your email provider and mine process that message under their own privacy terms.
SizeCap Pro is sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; the app only checks with the App Store whether the purchase exists on your account. I never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account.

If a future version ever changes any of this, the change will be listed here with a date, and the App Store privacy label will be updated to match.

对于压缩副本，如果拍摄日期可用，你可以选择是否由 SizeCap 写入该日期；位置信息不会写入压缩成品。如果原片已经低于上限并选择直接分享原片，SizeCap 不会重写文件或改变其元数据。保留的日期只留在本地文件或相册项目中，不会发送给我。
SizeCap 只申请一项权限：向相册里添加视频，而且只在你点「存入相册」时才会弹出。它从不申请读取相册，因为系统照片选择器让这件事没有必要。从「文件」和系统分享菜单导入时，只使用你明确选择所授予的访问权限。
应用不会让我看到任何内容。它没有服务器、没有崩溃上报、没有统计 SDK。你写邮件找我时，我只能看到你主动发送的内容；邮件会由你和我各自的邮件服务商按其隐私条款处理。
SizeCap 专业版通过 Apple 的应用内购买销售。付款由 Apple 处理，应用只向 App Store 核对你的账户是否已购买；我看不到你的姓名、付款信息或 Apple 账户。
2026 年 9 月 24 日（1.7）：新增上面关于应用内购买的一段。其余不变：没有服务器、没有统计、相册只要「仅添加」权限。
如果将来的版本改变了以上任何一条，会在这一页注明日期，App Store 的隐私标签也会同步更新。
