SizeCap: Compress Video to MB
An iPhone app that compresses a video to a file size you choose. After compressing, it reads the finished file's actual size and only hands you a file that is under your cap.
What it does
- Compresses one video at a time to a size you set: 10, 25, 50, or 100 MB, or a number you type
- Works out the bitrate from your cap, then checks the real bytes of the result
- Tells you the smallest workable size when a cap is too small for the clip's length
- Outputs MP4 (H.264 with AAC audio), saves to Photos or hands the file to the share sheet
- Leaves your original video untouched
Requirements
iOS 17 or later, on iPhone.
What it costs
Version 1.0 is free. There are no ads, no watermark, and nothing to sign up for.
A paid tier is planned for a later version. If that happens, this page says so before it ships.

Bug reports are more useful with the iOS version, the iPhone model, the clip's length and resolution, the cap you set, and the size of the file you got.
Known limits in version 1.0
- iPhone only. There is no iPad layout yet.
- Portrait orientation only.
- One video at a time. There is no batch mode.
- Very short clips can land well under the cap. The guarantee is "never over"; how close the result gets to the cap depends on the footage.

1.0 版本的已知限制
- 仅 iPhone，暂无 iPad 布局。
- 仅竖屏。
- 一次一个视频，没有批量模式。
- 很短的片子压出来可能明显低于上限。保证的是"绝不超"；离上限多近取决于素材本身。
